Monsanto – Ethical Consumer Boycott

Monsanto-Roundup-Dees1Whether GMO’s are bad or good, it’s beside the point, Monsanto remains one of the worst corporations in the world today. Apart from the fact that this corporation is a globalist monopolizing force that has the capacity to wipe out humanity by forcing it to completely re-invent food, they also seem to have a knack for corruption and human rights abuses. For an example, the amount of Monsanto lobbyists turn public servants and vice versa is astounding.

The Missouri based “agricultural company” has been named ‘the worlds most unethical company’ by a vast majority of the worlds food health watchdogs, the company leads the worlds production of genetically modified foods. Monsanto is also infamous for its treatment of farmers and activists, from spying to suing and much more. Monsanto has regularly sued farmers who tried to grow foods ethically and organically, if the lawsuits were not ruled in Monsanto’s favor, they would still eventually achieve the desired results by driving the farmers into long term and never ending legal costs and inspections. Many of these farms actually declared bankruptcy due to legal costs.

The company is also the creator of highly dangerous chemicals, some of which were used as chemical and biological warfare in times of conflict. One of the better known chemicals created by Monsanto would have to be the highly poisonous herbicide named ‘Roundup’. This weed killing herbicide is both dangerous to ecology as well as humans.

Chemical warfare and financial warfare is one thing, but the GMO side of things is another. We know a lot of people are still on the fence about this topic, however, we still need to consider the evidence at hand, both for and against. Many scientific studies have found that GM food can and has caused the death of unborn babies, generational sterility, a range of different cancers and much more. Rather than addressing these very honest consumer concerns and the general health issues, they have spent hundreds of millions of dollars on propaganda, the purchasing of health organizations and even the hearts of governments.

Through the power of these assets, along side their outsourced legion of internet shills, they have promoted information which uses false science to disprove legitimate health concerns. The internet shills and PR firm put combating legitimate criticism as their sole priority, admittedly. The outsourcing of (what may as well be called) corporate and public spying/harassment is placed in the hands of an infamous PMC corporation known as ‘BlackWater’. In fact, the reach that Monsanto has into global politics and economics is quite impressive, they have also been known to lobby governments around the world to put pressure on agencies and institutions that are not behind the push for genetic modification of our food supply.

The list of immorality really goes on a lot further and all people should be encouraged to boycott this company, regardless of whether or not they are pro or anti GM. Genetic modification is really only scratching at the surface of just what an awful and unethical company Monsanto really is. They are affecting humanity and agriculture on a bigger scale than ever seen before and the potential of an even greater damage is not outside the grips of this company.
